voll Messing, original zaponiert, ca. 1780 - 1790; Höhe 42 cm, als zusammengesetztes und als einfaches Mikroskop benutzbar; 1 fest in den Tubus integriertes Okular, eine Einsatzlupe, wenn das Mikroskop als Lupenmikroskop benutzt werden soll; 5 nummerierte Objektive, Auflichlupe, ein verschiebbarer Tischaufsatz, 2 Pinzetten, Life-box, 3 Elfenbeinpräparateträger; Grob- und Feineinstellung durch einen Trieb, der den Tisch bewegt; Kippgelenk auf dem zusammenlegbaren Dreibein; Signatur auf einem der Füße "A. Harris mechanisch und optisch gut, Erhaltung gut bis sehr gut, sehr schöner komplett gefüllter Kasten.

Harris, ca. 1820, original lacquered brass, standing 16 ½" highon ist heavy folding three leg base; working as a compound or a simple microscope; focussing of the stage by a pinion drive on a rack cut into the back of the column; the original accessories include: 5 numbered objectives, stage-mounted bull´s eye condensing lens, stage forceps, life box, 3 ivory specimen sliders; signature on a leg of the three leg base "A. Harris all microscop accessories are complete and within the original mahagony case which is in a very good condition; the microscope itself is well working and in a very good overall condition (more than 95 % of the original lacquer!).
